Behind Contiphotography is Lorenzo Conti, wedding photographer and videographer from the Sauerland (a region in western Germany), with a well-rehearsed team. Since 2013 they have been working with couples at destination weddings all over Europe, and also in the Sauerland, across North Rhine-Westphalia and across Germany. We tell stories instead of working through templates: honest emotions, natural images, a film in which you recognise yourselves.

Lorenzo Conti

Lorenzo Conti photographs and films weddings and leads the team. He is Italian and has lived in Germany for 35 years, in the Sauerland.

His professional journey began in 2013. Since then he has specialised in weddings, and destination weddings worldwide are his passion. He is a trained photographer and videographer, keeps learning, and has attended workshops with well-known photographers.

The team

The team consists of Lorenzo Conti, Alessandro Liciardi, Francesco Campo and Giulio Greco. For a full-day reportage there are always three of us: a photographer, a videographer and a third person who supports both. If you book only photo or only film, Lorenzo comes alone. You know beforehand who will be at your wedding: you meet us when we get to know each other.

The team speaks Italian and German, plus English and Spanish. This helps above all at weddings abroad, where family, guests and venue do not share the same language.

Before the wedding day

We usually reply within 24 hours and then get to know each other by phone or video call. Lorenzo explains how he works and what you will receive. You tell us about your day and your wishes, we advise on timeline, light and location and turn that into a plan for the day. After that you receive your written quote, more under Prices and packages.

On the wedding day

We arrive early, coordinate with your witnesses and the venue, and then we are simply there. During the couple portraits we give small prompts so that you feel comfortable.

Afterwards

You receive your gallery and film privately online; how long that takes depends on the effort involved. If you like, there is a preview beforehand.

Equipment

For film we work with two to three cameras, gimbals and our own sound recording, and with a drone on request where the location allows it. The film is exported in 4K. For photos we bring travel-friendly equipment that also works in rain, wind and changing light.

What matters to us

We want to create memories that move you for a lifetime. You should find yourselves in your images and in your film, real, beautiful and unposed. To do that we combine an artistic visual language with technical care.

Our work
